We moved into an apt. that has roach killer powder in the kitchen cabinets and in the bathroom cabinets. We are deep cleaning the place just in case, but I want to know the safest way to remove the powder (sprinkled directly onto the cabinet surface) so as not to get it on anything else or leave traces behind. Once it's removed, do you think it will be safe to cover the surfaces with contact paper?How to safely clean up roach powder?
Vacuum up the powder, and clean the surfaces with white vinegar, a little dish washing liquid, and hot water. Once dry, you can cover the shelves with contact paper.
