What is the difference between creatine powder and creatine pills?

I went to GNC to buy creatine and the powder costs $9 for 50 servings while the pills cost $40 for 60 uses, why is so special about the pills? What is the difference between creatine powder and creatine pills?
Hi,

If it is the same product, the pills cost more because of the process to make them pills. Powder is always cheaper and you get more servings. Unless the pills are made of the newer creatine like (Creatine Ethyl Ester) and the powder is Creatine Monohydrate.

Hope this helps! What is the difference between creatine powder and creatine pills?

Probably depends on what the pills are. There are many Creatine variants, the cheap (generic) powder is usually Creatine Mono-hydrate. I would guess that the pills were a serum or a buffered Creatine that is supposed to give (but in my experience doesn't) absorption.
