This powder is red (I think) and you sprinkle it on rice - it's so good! Unfortunately, I don't know where to get it in the US. Any stores that people know of in Virginia from which I can acquire this amazing stuff?Where can I get Somaq powder in Virginia?
It's usually called Sumac.
I am sorry, I don't know about Virginia supermarkets, but if you can find some Middle East grocery stores in your area I am sure you'll find it.
Here in London it's easily available everywhere.
